Mi Madre es Muy Elegante

My mother has always liked nice things. She taught me how to set a table for dinner guests. She likes her tea time especially when she lays out her bone China set. She likes English hats and gardens. There are stacks of "Victoria" magazines in her porch which I used to read in the summer when we took long trips. She collects beautiful glass vases which she painstakingly arranges in our sitting room. She's an avid lover of flowers, especially roses. I've often heard her thank God in her daily prayers for flowers. For her birthdays, we've taken her up to Niagara on the Lake in Canada to see a play followed by a viewing of the local rose gardens. She's in heaven! It's very cute. Here are some photos of her that make me smile.
