Our recent morning routines are enjoyable. In the wee hours of the morn, I get up to write because I need the quite of the house at this time for a good hour stretch.
After Antonio has breakfast and is dressed and has said goodbye to daddy who goes off to work, we go for a morning stroll around the neighborhood. Antonio is equipped with blanky, poo bear, sippy cup with juice, and sometimes a book.
In the mid morning I'm able to get a little violin playing in--maybe 15 minutes or some piano scales and work on my father's
pieces. Very Small chunks of time pay off if you do them daily. We read books. Then off to the Museum of play where he wears himself out, eats lunch, then we come back to the house where he naps.
I am then able to get my yoga, Pilates, physical therapy exercises and sit-ups in.
I'm learning to carve the time out for things I love, around his schedule. I feel very lucky.
